Course Description

Nursery Nurse Diploma - Level 3 ABC Award

Our Nursery Nurse Level 3 Diploma will enable learners to improve their knowledge and skills. Students will have the necessary learning materials needed to develop an in depth understanding needed to meet the requirements for basic training as part of childcare practitioners. The course content will help you to work within an environment with children who are 0-16 years of age. It will also help you to undertake professional development. 

There are a range of topics that will be covered in this course including: an introduction to nursery nursing, childcare and child development (0-16), the childcare practitioner in the work-based environment, and also planning to meet children’s personal needs in the work environment. 

This study guide is largely aimed at first time users. It is vital that students understand that to be successful when undertaking distance learning you need to be comfortable with the materials. The course involves assessment sections, which you will complete at the end of each module.

Such activities will link to the proceeding information to help you to assess if you have learnt the general knowledge of the module. It will enable you to monitor if you have made sufficient progress throughout the programme.

Assessment
