Course Description

Diabetes Care for the Elderly - Level 2 ABC Award

Our Diabetes Care for the Elderly course has been designed and created for people who are involved in the care sector. It strives to provide all staff, supervisors and managers with the necessary knowledge needed to offer a professional approach to the management of diabetes.

It will support you in becoming more effective in a range of areas of your work. This includes developing your understanding, in a way in which will help when assisting others to cope with having diabetes.

The Diabetes Care for the Elderly course will enable learners to enhance their career development in a care setting. Not only this, it will provide you with the opportunity to get involved with parts of your job you may not currently be concerned with.

There are nine modules, all of which will focus on a key area of diabetes. It has been created to be used as reading material. Such materials will assist and support workshop style delivery. This course will give you the freedom to study at your own pace and convenience.

All modules will require students to complete a series of questions which will help you to monitor your progress, and see if you have gained the necessary learning knowledge and understanding needed on Health and Safety. It will also enable learners to provide evidence needed for the key skills assessment.

You will receive an activities workbook which will consist of questions and exercises which are essential when it comes to your revision. This will allow you to reinforce your learning and measure your personal progress. Your personal tutor will then assess your work.

When purchasing the course, we strive to provide you with the best possible deal available. The cost of the course will cover the registration fee, certification fee and also tutor support.
